Excessive use of social media can negatively impact mental health by promoting comparison, increasing anxiety, and reducing face-to-face interactions. Here are some tips to limit social media use:

Set Boundaries: Avoid using social media first thing in the morning or right before bed, it will condition your dependency on it all through the day/night. Establish specific times of the day and reason to check social media and stick to them. Answer the question why ! 

Unfollow Negative Accounts: Unfollow or mute accounts that make you feel anxious, stressed, or inadequate. Follow accounts that inspire and uplift you to get ahead in your goals and vision instead.

Engage in Real-Life Interactions: Make an effort to spend quality time with friends and family in person. Real-life interactions can provide deeper connections and emotional support.

Do What You Already Know. That is Power.
